Turbo XS BOV:

This TurboXS Blow-off Valve is supposed to be re-circulated. I bought it just incase I needed to. I am told I pretty much have to because of the way the ECU meters the air (MAF). I ran it open atmosphere and it turned out fine.

The first thing I needed to do was get another pipe and get the flange welded on. I did it this way so that I could leave the pipe with the shop (TIG welded) and not have any down time without a car. Marking it was kind of sketchy so I took some pictures along with me.

I got the welded pipe back but the weld was kind of ugly. I cleaned and scrubbed the pipe I masked off important places and painted the pipe. I used a high-temp silver color and it turned out nicely.

After 20-30min of pulling and wiggling the old pipe out, I managed to get the new pipe and the flange in and tightened the clamps. I pushed the BOV on there and it fit under the hood. I used all of the washers and it doesn't open during idle, doesn’t sputter, and doesn't die. The only thing I can see different is the non existent spool up time when shifting and the loud sound.
